Study of driver's attitudes towards road safety in Georgia

Introduction. Road traffic injuries are a global public health challenges and leading cause of death disability. This study examines the relationships between road accident involvement, driving behaviors, drivers’ attitudes towards safety in Georgia.
 Material methods. Behavior two hundred Georgian drivers were reported using self-administered questionnaire. The criteria for inclusion residency Georgia at least one year experience.
 Results. A total 200 interviewed. 59% participants felt that had not improved all over past ten years. 94% respondents involved as driver. 99% male 84% female have been fined speeding last three 95% males 51% females experienced under influence alcohol once, 2% 43% never driven alcohol.
 Conclusions. demonstrated consumption, use mobile phones while high speed very common among Georgia.
